Based on original ideas from Karl Schinke (Ardith). Symbols for aspects other than the Mother, along with the artwork, were contributed by Myron Wyles (Halaren).
Andrithanism and its variants are the dominant religion in Rang and the surrounding kingdoms. Within the boundaries of land, he had been a sickly child, and as such, fell into a life of scholarship and calligraphy, rather than the martial path his brothers took. Before the Battle of the Magics, Brundash was the mysterious home of a world-wide organization of magi. Even then, few could claim to have seen it, and no one would say where or even what it was. Brundash was a term used both for the place, and the organization., Arnellplugin-autotooltip__default plugin-autotooltip_bigPreceptor Halaren
Halaren stands wide and heavy, large feet and hands offsetting a comparably small head. He looks in his late twenties. His skin is pale and a little blubberous, tugging his facial features downwards to give him a slightly sad and dim-witted appearance. His face is well shaved, and hair medium in length, though so thin and wispy his head is clearly visible underneath. Further adding to his girth are the heavy robes he wears, well worn and covered in smudges. A long, deliberate … began, hoping Kanal would understand the nature of his request. Perhaps the others would know too, but Arnellplugin-autotooltip__default plugin-autotooltip_bigPreceptor Halaren

He needed understanding from Kanal, but also the Risen would know he was no fool. “Sirs, I am traveling and seek your assistance, and humbly do ask your help. I am traveling to Maelbourgplugin-autotooltip__default plugin-autotooltip_bigMaelbourg

Maelbourg is a walled town in the Barony of Huerten, with a population of approximately six thousand. The land on which the town sits was added to maelbourg index and asked what news you may have to aid me on my way.”

Kanal's “court,” of course, was nothing but a small, undecorated office with a small bookshelf, modest desk and two chairs. The term was used as an analogy to Orithplugin-autotooltip__default plugin-autotooltip_bigThe Orithorans
This religion, dead for five hundred years, states that all gods bow to the god of justice, and are so far beneath him that they are as the lowest of servants of a king. The Orithory, a deeply carved quarter-sphere of stone that often weighs over a thousand pounds, symbolizes justice, and is thus their primary symbol. The center of the Orithoran religion was in a region they called's court, where he judged gods and man alike. Kanal closed the door and said, “I think it unlikely that you've learned something already.”
“My apologies if I have found out nothing thus far, and apologies if you are busy. I wanted to know more of what you believe might be the issues to investigate, other than a disturbance or rift that I was informed of.” Arnellplugin-autotooltip__default plugin-autotooltip_bigPreceptor Halaren

“You were given all information available, as was I, but this is your task, not mine. You may come to me if you need to involve others. As you have not yet begun, my help is not needed. Now make your stay brief. My… status is not known, and I would be involved with the magi as little as possible.”

He settled his bill and told the innkeeper he'd be out of town for at least a few days.
