After the incident at the Wyrm Hole, newly promoted Sergeant Mugul Hanagark was brought in to answer a great many questions regarding the operation. To be sure, it had gone quite splendidly by department standards since no militia men and no cavalier knight of the Temple of Mystra was hurt in the battle. All told, 23 men and women were killed in action, most confirmed as working for Daimyo Don Culleebrie and were believed to be criminals. Some of those killed in action were believed to be innoc…Indexplugin-autotooltip__default plugin-autotooltip_bigThe Story So Far

After his mistress left the caves, Lord Malus called upon the ten battle captains that had previously served the Orcan War Chief. The ten stood inside the large tent, breathing heavily through foul smelling tusks and poor hygiene, their snouts gruffly snorting, and their beady eyes darting from one Drow warrior to the other. The battle captains knew that the one in the middle had bested Godarr the Mighty, and they feared and loathed him for it. 2016-11-20
It seems that the world has gotten slightly bigger and a little more dangerous…
Ephraim discovered that the small, plain bag he had procured from Don Culleebrie's room was a magical bag of holding, able to store an as yet unlimited amount of goods! He graciously divided up the loot (fairly) evenly. Ephraim also made contact with the alchemist who told him of the blue crystal's status, learning that the experimentation of its properties was far more advanced than others suspected. Ephraim was also instrumental in ferreting out the drug ring within the Temple of Mystra, fighting a mere acolyte and taking one for the team.
The sword given to Clarys was discovered to be an ancient vorpal blade, which easily severs limbs and heads. Coupled with her strength and fighting abilities, she has increased her ability to do deadly harm to any who would stand before her. But it was her deft stalling skills that truly saved the day! She was able to tie up Decius Sectori and his men long enough to allow Guy and the others to infiltrate Decius's building–all to save the magistrate's daughter! Clarys's next challenge is in mending her friendship with Lord Devlin Asher, who seems rather dubious to her dealings with drow and orcs and blue crystals. With her oath fast approaching, his mentorship continues to be valuable to her because he is a most powerful ally.
Guy planned a near-flawless mission to seek out the whereabouts of Alexa Calavia, the magistrate's kidnapped daughter, suspected to be in Decius's holdings. The one major flaw in his scouting mission? It quickly devolved into a successful rescue mission! Guy easily defeated Decius's men and led the team to greater glories. He was quick to think on the spot and executed spells and acrobatics that astounded friends and foe alike.
Ladiana's power and influence amplified by a hundred fold—185 fold, to be exact. Not only had she gained personal powers during the week-long rest and seclusion in the caves, she allowed Lord Malus to challenge the Orcan War Chief. After successfully defeating the giant orc, Lord Malus became the new war chief, still kneeling before his mistress. For his success, Ladiana finally granted her faithful servant the power of speech. Ladiana herself displayed, once again, her frightening sorcery, burning limbs off of mighty foes, melting flesh and blood and bone, and negotiating in the slave trade with imperial haughtiness. Fear and death always seem to follow in her path.
Mugul reverted to becoming a drunk and recluse. He gambled his days away and drowned his sorrows, following his mugging, capture, and beating in the alley. For his lack of personal progress, the magistrate awarded him with a secret promotion to lieutenant, second only to Captain Pol Ben Ben. He instructed Kemp to recruit five new militia men, loyal to Mugul personally, and had not been corrupted by crime and graft. Mugul safely got Alexa Calavia out of Decius's stronghold. What's next for the fine young Half Orc? Promotion to King of the North?
Next game considerations:
There is still a small army of Orcs outside of the city (two hours walking time southwest of the southwestern wall).
Magistrate Calavia has been elevated by Duke Thornblade to hold temporary ducal powers until his return from the Emperor's summons.
Daimyo Don Culleebrie has effectively eliminated Decius Sectori, his mutinous lieutenant.
Captain Pol Ben Ben is missing from the ranks. Who cares? Or is he plotting something far more devious than anyone has considered?
What about Alistair and his payments to the Orcan War Chief? What will happen when Alistair returns with more payments and he finds a drow warrior in charge?!
Also, Ladiana gave Malus permission to drink one vial of the blue crystal, aiding him in his fight against the Orcan War Chief. After Clarys laid hands upon him, Malus calmed down to a controllable state. Do her healing hands nullify the addictive properties of the drug?
